Name
Jesus famously said “…I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). We are called New Life Church (NLC) because we want to experience and to live out the fresh abundant life to which God has called us. In essence, to know Him and to make Him known.
Vision
We believe that God is calling us to ‘encounter His presence, equip the saints and evangelise the lost’. We believe that every member of this church family has a role and gifting to use in fulfilling this vision.

Encounter His Presence
“As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God” (Psalm 42:1-2).
We must be a church that lives out the reality of knowing God personally and pursuing that passion with ever increasing zeal through holiness of life, prayer and living in right relationship with God and each other.
Equip the Saints
“…the equipping the saints for the work of the ministry…” is essential “…for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12).
The Bible makes it clear that the equipping of the saints is important to enable them to serve and use their God-given gifts.
Evangelise the Lost
“…we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, ‘Come back to God!” (2 Corinthians 5:20).
We are reminded that we are literally Christ’s representatives on earth and we have the responsibility to represent Jesus in every aspect of our lives.
